As a member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct input and discipline specific expertise into the formulation of individual rehabilitation support plans in collaboration with the resident (consumer), carer, referrer and other advocates. Striving to enhance and facilitate individualised rehabilitation and recovery within the CRC and wider community, you will assist with the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of clinical nursing rehabilitation services. This will involve giving direction, supervision and support for Community Rehabilitation Workers. You will also be responsible for assisting the Nurse Unit Manager or equivalent in undertaking service management responsibilities, such as performance management processes, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation and attendance management, financial and supplies planning and monitoring. You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. You must be enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or hold a qualification in Mental Health practice. With prior experience in management and leadership roles, you will be capable of giving supervision to student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses. You will use your effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills to maintain a cohesive multidisciplinary team and resolve local or immediate nursing care problems. The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time.
