The role is based in Sydney. Your new role As a Systems Engineers your responsibilities will include requirements gathering, system design and development, and maintenance of a variety of military electronic and platform systems. You will have a thorough understanding of validation and verification solutions, and have the ability to review every phase of the life cycle for these systems. Coordination with management and liaising with clients will be included in this position, along with the potential of leading a small team. What you'll need to succeed Ideally you will hold tertiary qualifications in Systems / Communications Engineering or related field and have experience in the development of electronic systems and maintenance of platform systems. Through this experience you will have gained the ability to review design details and test procedures, while coordinating engineering changes. Due to the industry environment you must hold an active NV1 security clearance. As a member of the Capital Works Unit, you will be tasked with the delivery of a range of civil infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, footpath, curb & channel, bridges and minor building works.
