6 Month Contract Role Close to Transport Excellent Daily Rate We have an immediate opportunity for two Paralegal clerks to join the legal team with our client located in Ashfield. The contract role will be commencing on the 22 January until the 29 June with a 35 hour week for a duration of six months. You will need at least three years experience or more in a Law Degree or Paralegal role and a valid drivers license as there may be regional travel to the districts of Murrumbidgee, Far West and Western NSW Districts, so you must be able to travel, flights and accommodation will be provided. The Role: Provide paralegal services and administrative support to practice group Legal Officers, including research, analysis and provision of written information for consideration by Legal Officers for inclusion in briefs and other legal documents Manage practice group's databases and systems in accordance with standards and guidelines, by creating, storing, retrieving and tracking files to ensure accuracy and security of information. Perform data entry and data reviews ensuring accuracy and relevance of legal data and documentation recorded, to assist in the monitoring and analysis of practice group controls, processes and performance indicators Utilise relevant legal databases and systems to generate reports that enable accurate, relevant analysis and reporting of the practice group's legal advice and services Contribute to practice group project work as directed by the Director and/or senior staff Knowledge of the Child and Young Persons Protection Act Requirements for the role Criminal check will be required upon application Current working with Childrens Check Valid drivers licence
