About the Opportunity As our new South Flank mine continues to develop, the Technology Production Systems team has an exciting opportunity for a talented Automation Systems Engineer/ Solution Architect with demonstrated capabilities in the following areas: • Define system requirements, high level and detailed designs. • Ensure the system design meets the project requirements and is aligned with Technology standards and strategic roadmap. • Participate in design workshops and reviews. • Provide Technology design guidance and input to South Flank teams, contractors, and suppliers. • Define system support requirements in preparation for handover to support teams. • Assist with system procurement, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning activities. • Review and approve testing documentation and procedures. • Witness and approve testing and commissioning activities. • An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development • The role will involve some travel to Pilbara sites to engage with stakeholders. About you We are looking for passionate people who love all things automation and design & architecture. You will have a proven track record in delivering autonomous systems in Mobile Equipment in a mining environment. To be successful you will need to have a Technical Degree (STEM) in Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline. Some other requirements include: • Autonomous Systems (Mobile Equipment) configuration and integration; • Complex mining systems solution design and integration; • Solution Architecture and Detailed Design; • Certified/Experience/Exposure in Functional Safety • Skilled across a broad range of technologies and systems; • Minimum of C class manual drivers licence Naturally, you will have a track record of successful end to end stakeholder engagement, great communication and project coordination skills.
